Absolutely.

People will need sports to watch during nationwide lockdowns, unfortunately.

Hello old feller.

Better go get your groceries before the next round of panic buying begins. Sources say two weeks, maybe less.

I found a place that sells my Cuban coffee online, bought 120$ worth, should be good for 3 months or so

That’s true, for now.

I’ve been impressed with the Pogey Bubble. Way to work.

Better to have it than not. That’s actually not a bad deal. A tin of mid grade coffee is $20 now ffs.

I expect some more closures but hopefully we avoid too much craziness. Ford is talking about extending the school break which is stupid because it affects all parents indiscriminately instead of focusing on specific sectors.

Fresh fruit and vegetable interruptions from US could be an issue.

I took the kids to a Toronto Maple Leafs girls’ skills day a few years ago at the Mastercard Centre.

One of the exercises was to make smoothies and energy bars with the head chef of MLSEL (head chef for Leafs and Raptors, not for the fat fans).

He had a Q&A with the parents afterwards - and someone asked him about frozen vs. fresh fruits and his veggies. He said that due to the rapid freezing of produce these days, the frozen poop has more nutrients.

Since that day, I basically buy apples, pears and bananas fresh. Everything else is frozen.

Good to know. I make myself fruit, yogurt, milk smoothie for breakfast so I go through kits of frozen fruit.

BTW, Giuliani was hilarious in court today. The judge was incredibly patient with him.

I went to a Leafs practice once a few years back. They gave us all breakfast. It was (frank)ing awful. I was expecting some eggs maybe some bacon and some toast. Nope. Fruit (a lot of melons that I don't really like) and some other crap that sucked. Don't even remember what it was, it was that bad.

The only thing that was good was the banana chocolate chip muffins and even then, I'm used to the ones my mom makes which are vastly superior.

Yesterday was Gordon Lighfoot’s birthday. Here’s Alex Trebek interviewing him in 1963. “So are you going to record your own songs one day?”
